Visitors

You are always welcome to join our church services and general activities. We do our best to ensure that

everyone - visitors and regulars - is given a warm welcome.

Our Sunday Morning Services begin at 10.30 am.

ACCESSIBILITY & PARKING

All areas including toilets are accessible to wheelchair users. There are always people ready to lend a hand if you need help. We have a Car Park, with an overflow parking on a dis-used road at the back, also Higher Buckeridge Road is a particularly wide road with plenty of room for unrestricted parking. map

We meet at the Richard Newton Hall - the New Road Area Community Centre as we don’t own a church building.

MEETING AND GREETING

Everyone is greeted and welcomed at the door and offered a copy of our current newsletter
with everything that is going on in our church community.
Please feel free to sit anywhere you like in the main hall.

Our church is led by a team of elders who each take turns to preach, as do a few other people in our church, and we sometimes have visiting preachers. Consequently, no two Sundays are alike
and we enjoy a variety of service styles.

We are a Bible-based church and currently have links with the South West Baptist Association.
There is always someone ready to help, to talk about the church or our faith, or to pray with you
or for your loved ones. Just speak to someone after the service.

Our hymns are projected onto a screen on the stage. However, if for any reason, you would prefer to use a hymn book, or would like a Bible, we can provide this.

CHILDREN AND FAMILIES

We are a child-friendly church and will make sure your children are entertained
and feel accepted as part of our Sunday celebrations.

Sunday School

Our small Sunday School caters for pre-school and school-age children.  We use various media and crafts, adapted each week according to the numbers and needs of the children attending.  This is Bible themed and shows God’s love for them and the wider community.

Creche

For babies and toddlers, we provide toys, drawing, and colouring activities at the back of the main hall and they may stay with their parents during the service. We are used to hearing the sound of children playing at the back, no one is concerned about this. In fact, we like it,
and you with all your children are welcome

Messy Church

This is run on a monthly basis on the first Saturday of the month from 4-5.30 pm at the Richard Newton Hall. It's extremely popular with parents, children and grandparents in this areaMessy Church
