Discipleship

“Let us consider how we can spur one another on towards love and good deeds.”
 Hebrews 10:24

To be a disciple is to follow in the ways of Jesus as much as we can - literally to aim to be like him, to follow his ‘pattern’, so to speak. And just as Jesus didn’t only minister on one day of the week, we are expected to be living his way in every aspect of our lives. That’s at work, at home, in our prayers and in our worship. Jesus’s ways will shape our attitudes, our finances, the ways we use our time and so much more.

But we’re not expected to do this alone. We support and encourage one another, learning and growing together.

At North Teignmouth Community Church, we have homegroups which meet either during the daytime or the evening. These are smaller groups of people who get to know each other more closely, praying for one another and challenging one another as we seek to live like Jesus.
