Baby Bank

Teignmouth Baby Bank is an initiative of North Teignmouth Community Church, offering free practical support to those struggling to access basic baby supplies. You can also follow us on our Facebook Page. Contact Nicky White on 07516 579658 to make a referral.

How Can We Help?

Referrals can be made from health visitors, GPs, social workers, children’s centres, nurseries, schools, churches and other agencies.

When a referral is accepted, we will contacthe family to discuss items needed and arrange an appointment for collection or delivery. All delivery volunteers have undergone DBS checks.

How Can You Help Us?

As a free service to the community, we rely on donations of good quality clothing and items of equipment. All clothing is sorted and washed by a team of volunteers, and equipment is cleaned and checked before being issued. Some items, such as cot mattresses are purchased using the charity funds.

What Could You Donate?

We are always grateful for: pushchairs, prams, baby chairs, highchairs, cots, play gyms, play mats, blankets, gro-bags, nappies, socks, tights, vests (up to 2 years).

We are unable to take battery-operated toys, baby bouncers/walkers, car seats or electrical items.
